We went to town to see the church, buy some souvenirs, and have supper. It's a very safe and quaint town. We felt comfortable exploring and found the Santa Cruz grocery store were a lovely young man helped us pick out some hot sauces and tequila. We enjoyed strolling in the evening and getting some crema bars (fruit ice cream). Just enough vendors to be interesting and not overwhelming. Local flavor. We felt comfortable and at ease.

Took a cab ride from Barcelo Huatulco to do some shopping and get out of the sun at the beach. Dropped off near town centre near the church. Saw some interesting things one wouldn't see in Saskatchewan like people standing inline to throw their garbage in the garbage truck. People very friendly. Able to barter which is half the fun.

If you're in Huatulco, you definitely should visit La Crucecita. There's a nice square, some awesome shops, and great restaurants. It's a really nice change of pace from staying at your resort all day.

We enjoyed visiting the town from our resort and the store owners were friendly and respectful and one even directed me to a couple places that sold the Painting on Masa paper I was looking for.

Took a quick trip to this charming town. Lots of shops and restaurants, but does not show the true culture of Mexico 🇲🇽 Although there is some older structures to see , does not have the spirit of Mexico as I know it. Great for tourist though or passengers from a cruise ship.

Very nice little town with lot of night life and no crime. Taxi service is everywhere. Plenty of places to eat and drink. Very reasonable on all the price, food, drink, hotels, fishing, etc. Great time. Have already booked next year.

Beautiful area! The "square" or "market" is great! Some of the shop owners are a little aggressive for our liking, but most were fantastic! No pressure, no stress. We stopped at a great little bar/restaurant called #Juan. Wonderful place!!!! Food was fabulous! Best food on our trip!

This is a beautiful place to walk around. It is very clean and a good place to shop. Most people here speak Spanish. Some understand English. They try hard.
