The Malecon (boardwalk) is pretty and clean and uncrowded with great views of the lovely bay and the colossal blue sailfish, but it doesn't have nearly as much to do as Puerto Vallarta, unless you turn inland and walk across the street and around the...More

The huge marlin statue represents the city of Manzanillo and is a great photo op. There are lots of statues by Mexican artists along the walkway and it is worth seeing.

We hired a driver to show us the Manzanillo area and were glad we did it. He showed us many places that regular tours don't take tourists. Seeing the area this way really shows how the residents live. The Malecon area was very quiet while...More

Nice water views and worth a quick stroll around. But, aside from some small eateries and souvenir shops, there's really not that much to see. The area is neat and clean and the sword fish sculpture is a nice photo opt. We strolled up a...More

Very historical, old town. Nice to cruise through, enjoy the malecon & drive by the huge port. Many shops & market stores along with several restaurants to stop for lunch. But after seeing it once, no need to return.

Great views of the harbor and navy base. There is a large park, some trees and statuary to see. Ofter the city hosts live performances. There'll be carnival entertainment this coming week. There was Valentine's today.
