Great beach with an open air restaurant right on the beach. Catch a boat and pass sea lion colony. Check out Playa Sur tours to get there.

Get Tour Guide, 'Hugo' from 'King David' Tours. You may not enjoy it as much as we did if you use someone else. Great place to connect with folks living a throwback in time existence. Meet pet alligators and a ride on a trailer hauled...More

A day trip to Stone Island was just perfect after a morning hike up the lighthouse. Calm water, a wide sandy beach and great services. Take a panga from the marine dock - 30 pesos return.

Drove out to Stone Island on a very quiet day, not much doing and it was perfectly quiet. Lovely, love the water and birds and no company.

There are some places along the beach you can rent. If you go on VRBO you may find them there. The only downside about staying in this area is to get to the Golden Zone you will have to water taxi every time and then taxi... More

El Cid has Pronatours. You can also take the fancy green bus 11 PESOS [52 cents] to the Ferry and take a water taxi across the marina/docks and you are there. Way cheaper. The tours just do one of the restaurants there and... More
