Nice spa area

I wish they had co-ed steam showers. The outdoor Jacuzzi is very hot (awesome) but a distance from the women's locker room. You have to walk down the hall out to the area.Them... read more

Do not allow yourself to get a massage from Brian! This was the single worst massage I have ever had. He clearly did not know how to massage and thought his job was to apply oil, as that is all he did. Unfortunately he also hurt me while doing so. I actually had to tell him to stop massaging me,... Very relaxing and professional. The staff made you feel very comfortable. Look forward to this treat several times every time I am in Mazatlán!

My visit was lengthy, my nails were ruined within an hour because they still hadn't dried from the vey thick coats of polish and no hand driers. The pedicure was awful, no massage and the "luxury" sugar scrub was painful. The ambience was odd- Spa music and an action movie with Hilary Swank killing someone with a nail gun... far... More

I prefer having my massages at the indoor spa because it cooler and more private. However, the spa is spotless, the staff very accommodating and my favorite masseuse is Andrea. For such a small woman, her hands are very strong and can she find the perfect spots to release the tension!! Treat yourself!

Ours was a 1st time vacation for 7 people of 3 generations, ages 4 to 70 to vacation together for an all inclusive-week. This might have been a disaster when stuck in a foreign country (we've from the US)! On the last day at El Cid Resort and everyone of us is still smiles and giggles talking about what a... More

Hotel is very nice, but don't use this spa. The pedicure experience is horrible. I was told it was a 50 min pedicure with a relaxing foot massage at the end, I was done in 30 min and sat for 5 min to have my nail dry. The massage was a simple application of lotion. The seat is uncomfortable. My... More

How can 80 minutes of a relaxation spa treatment not be worth it? I enjoyed the treatment and it was worth the $60 in my opinion. The downside was female massage therapist with hands of steel didn't speak English and too much oil was on my body when done, but it was worth every pesos.

We stayed at El Cid El Moro and our first day there we were really excited to visit the spa across the street. I got a pedicure and my husband got a relaxing massage. The service was not great and the place just seemed very run down and outdated. We waiting in the workout room area for quite awhile before... More
