I think this is a must visit. This large covered market serves the local populations needs for meat, fish, fruit and vegetables. There are separate stands for flour and corn tortillas. You will be tempted to stock up on seasonings and dried chilies. Around the periphery are stands selling traditional tourist wares. The walk from the market to the cathedral... More

Pick up a few vegetables while having a coffee and something to eat. Fresh made corn tortillas with your choice of fillings or a cinnamon bun, ice cream or a crepe. There is also a cheese booth that has a great selection that gives samples before you buy.

It was awesome! You can buy anything here: fruit, veggies, meat, candy, vanilla, shirts, hats, trinkets, etc. The prices are great too. Don't be afraid to haggle.

We got off the Grand Princess and walked 8-9 blocks to this incredible market place. All types of produce was displayed, not just vegi's, but a fish market and butchery(not for all taste) with a great selection. Up stairs was some small cafe type eateries. No beer available at this market. It is a Mexican family type atmosphere.

We stopped here on our City Tour. This farmer's market has souvenirs and gifts plus candy and items for the locals like fish, meats and poultry, and fresh vegetables and fruits. A neat way to spend some time. The vendors weren't overly pushy either. You can bargain with them and they always seem to have a smile on their face.

There are several restaurants on the beach, the food they serve is fresh and delicious. While you wait for your food nachos and salsa are there for you to munch on. The fish Barbeque dinner takes about 45 minutes to cook after the waiter has let you choose the .fresh fish he brings you. This diner is absolutely delicious and... More

If you want a real taste of Mazatlan then you must visit this awesome market place. Could spend hours here. Lots of variety to look and buy. Prices much lower then on the beach. Been three times now over the years. So much fun!

The Saturday morning market provides the opportunity for the regional growers to sell organic produce. Great products from veg through to baked goods and more. My favourite Saturday morning stop.
