The Malecon is a terrific place to see Mexicano families enjoying the city. I would encourage a walk along the Malecón any evening as the sun goes down.
What fabulous local color! Street venders, live music, art work, creative local retail, all immediately on the playa! All fresh with the sea breezes, and the sounds of the surf. A "MUST" visit for the Mazatlán local Flavor!
Normally I would give high ratings for the Malecon but this visit was just average or poor because of flooding, bad smell and filthy streets... it appears that major construction is going on which is usually a good sign that they are improving the Malecon!...More
