If you go to Mazatlán...you must visit the malecón. The longest in Central and South America. Try the “pulmonias” special taxis... Nice place, nice people...

I really enjoyed walking along the malecon. Some sections were under construction but that was not a problem. Nice to see the sunsets from here.

La malecon is very long. I like best the part near the older part of town rather than the part with all the hotels.

I stayed in the Old Town part of Mazatlan so the Malecon was right there. They are upgrading it with the installation of pavers along the sidewalks. A bit of a long walk with lots of picture taking. Several places to stop for photo taking....More

A great place to enjoy the ocean view and swim. Street vendors are nice and friendly and do not harangue the tourists. Lots of places to get great shrimp.

Probably a little too far to walk but there are golf cart cabs or regular cabs to take you downtown

There are beach vendors at brujas to rent chairs and umbrellas, but I don’t remember there being any chair vendors on malecon... maybe there are on cruise ship days. We avoid all things near town on cruise ship days... you... More

Take a cab or bus,and it's free it's just a very long walkway along the ocean.
