A very nice, older malecon (Boardwalk) with access to the beach. Restaurants and shops along the way, street vendors and cliff divers. Worth a nice walk from wherever you start on its long, 7 mile route

had a wonderful day walking about 2/3 of the Malecon... we stopped and checked out various objects for sale along the way... enjoyed a few great tidal pools... also had lunch in one of the restaurants right on the beach... be sure to bring some water to drink and wear comfy shoes for walking on cement and in sand;-)

Spent a few hours walking the malecon. Great views and interesting people watching. Not as many quality vendors as I've seen in other areas of Mexico. Talking with and watching the cliff divers was a highlight.

Nice area to take photos and walk. Avoid around noon since it was quite hot even in March. There is an area where they did cliff diving.

Walk along the beachfront and see the monuments along the way. It's long! We only walked part of it. No public restrooms, but you can pay 5 pesos to use a restroom along the way. Also, there are some beach restaurants along the way. Or you can end up at the Golden Zone and shop or have a meal.

The Malecon is a very long stretch of beach area that runs along the south/west end of the city near the downtown area. There is a walkable sidewalk up on the roadside or you can walk down on the beach. The day we went, the ocean was completely banked in fog so that was a very cool thing to see!... More

Everything happens here, especially in the evening and on into the night. There's music and dancing and food.

One of my favorite things to do in Mazatlan. Rent a pulmonia and drive down the Malecon tak8ng in the beautiful ocean views, the locals and tourists. Since many interesting things to see on this drive, statues, fishermen bringing b in their nights catch, vendors... I look forward to this each year, it never gets old.

Beautiful!!! Great for walking, running and biking. It's ocean view all the way. It's about 5 miles long. In the evening it's beatiful as you can see Mazatlan lite up at night. This also the parade area for Carnival.

Thank jhealth
