We loved this tour. Oscar is an oceanographer and shares insights about whales and the Banderas Bay ecosystem throughout the tour. On 10-12 persons, so not too large. You meet at the marina. A fresh and tasty lunch with either a salad or sandwich along...More

Oscar's knowledge of the interaction between the whales and their Bay of Banderas environment (tides, water depth, "blue" v. "green" water....as determines whale behavior was fascinating. We were able to observe a 3 week old calf resting on mama's head, then fin, as they napped...More

This was one of the most memorable parts of our vacation to Puerto Vallarta, if not the most memorable. The staff was flexible, accommodating, very friendly, and knowledgeable. You can tell they have a passion for what they do. As far as the whale-watching was...More

This was a wonderful excursion. I love the focus on education about the humpbacks AND that the money we paid goes toward research. Oscar, Isabella and Jorge did a great job. We did the 4 hour excursion and the smaller boat, which I am glad...More

I’ve been on several whale watching trips in the past but this one was really special. Captain Tony knew exactly where to find the whales and our onboard oceanographer, Isabel, was a fountain of information. Much of which I still remember. One of the things...More

I wasn't sure what to expect on this tour. I brought binoculars because I thought the whales might be off in the distance, and someone told us we wouldn't see anything on an afternoon tour. That was not the case at all. Captain Tony seemed to...More

Going out to the outer Bay is rather slow. Isabel was a great guide. At first I was a little discouraged because we moved away from the gangs of other boats that seemed to be seeing more whales. However, that turned out to be a...More

Hello, thank you for your inquiry. Yes, there are restroom facilities on board. It is to consider it is a 31 feet long boat, so the facilities are small, it is real clean and has an electric flush.
