A good place to shop!

A good place to go if you want more useful items rather than souvenirs, although you will find some of those as well.

After being in Vallarta 24 years, I consigned 13 perfect Salvador Dali prints to this galleria, actually years ago.including prices expected,and a receipt for $6,600 P in value. Never heard from them again, but approached them many times in passing or in the galleria to return my prints or my money. Each time she ran off, avoiding my questions or... More

Stay far far away from these thieves. I purchased a bronze statue for $1,700 and arranged for it to be shipped since it was too big for me to take aboard a plane. It never came and after dozens of phone calls and e mails which strung me along, I realized I was conned!

Barbara Peters has operated various sources for fine art and collectibles, as far north as Bucerias, 20 some years. Walk to Guerrero and up one flight. Sit and talk with her and son Mark. They will secure items at a good price which you may desire.

I just wanted to warn people to be careful of purchasing anything from the Galeria Vallarta in Puerto Vallarta. Since it is one of the galleries included in the PV Artwalk I assumed (wrongly) that it would have quality merchandise. I purchased a piece on the night of the Artwalk and since it was dark with only a few lights,... More
