There isn't anything to do in Gringo Gulch, other than check out Elizabeth Taylor's house. The streets are beautiful, the view are few, but great, and it's a bit of a hike. Check it out if you want to see more of Vallarta, but don't...More

Reminds me of the Hollywood Hills. Fabulous homes, spectacular views. This is where Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton lived. It is full of history.

The architecture, gardens, and views are stunning and quite different from what one can see elsewhere in Puerto Vallarta. Go with a guide to hear all the salty stories!

Interesting part of town. Sits up the hill from old town. This is where you will find Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burtons homes. It has a great view of the bay and town. Nice walk if you don't mind a lot of stairs.

We were on the top of the isle of the River and walked the many steps upward to Gringo Gulch. Beautiful views of homes and the city. Take the back streets back down and you will discover great restaurants and a Jazz Club.

By walking directly 'above' the main church downtown, one arrives in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood overlooking the city and the bay. We meandered along yesterday morning for about an hour, ending up at the giant concrete tower for a stunning view of the area....More
