But it’s near many other sights including Malecón, the chapel, and old town. Worth a drive by photo but not really a destination by itself.

When we arrived at this monument, we were in awe at the symbolism at the statue's history. We were on a complementary city tour (courtesy of our hotel) during this time, and our guide informed us extensively on what each part of the statue meant....More

It's nice to take at lease one picture by it. The view in the background doesn't hurt anything. Also, people don't pay for tours. Most of the time it's a rip off, I'm sorry to say. I'm all for people making money, but not for...More

The bronze statue surrounded by the puerto Vallarta colourful sign seems to be one of the most usual location for pictures by locals. Worth visiting

It is almost impossible to miss the Caballito. As it is located in the middle of Malecon. It is a statue where people stop to take pictures.

Please don’t pay for a tour it’s a waste of money. It’s a beautiful little town that you can walk around on your and take some amazing little photos. People are friendly and atmosphere is very Mexican! Warm and welcoming

Good place to stop and see on a tour of the city and good for great photo op of the ocean. If you visit with a loved one or family you'll have some great memories.

This is a very interesting statue. You will learn a lot about the meaning and the purpose. You will enjoy visiting it. You will overlook the water and take some very nice pictures with it in the background.

It is very nice I was a bit disappointed because it has changed in 20 years and for me the simplicity of the Malecon was gone. However still worth seeing

You must get a picture in front of the Puerto Vallarta sign! Lovely art area with Caballito as just one of many artistic features. Picturesque, ocean front with incredible panoramic views in a central area with lots to see and do. Central point for exploration.
