Sculptures and history to read about, the 1921 Cathedral, the river walk with friendly vendors and great restaurants. A sweet town gazebo. Locals saying "Welcome", we are glad you are here!

This is one of the great boardwalks. During the day you will visit the many pieces of artwork that makes this boardwalk stand out. There are even tours of the art of the Malecon. This is the center of an evening of fun and entertainment.…

One of several bronze statues to be found along the seafront. It is delightful, a small boy riding a seahorse. Look out for it as you walk the Malecon.

Walking among all the bronze statues and other types of art is amazing. It’s like walking along a river in Europe. We walked the length of the Malecon and into Old Vallarta. The shops and restaurants on one side and beach on the other makes the walk so worthwhile. There are street vendors that are very polite and don’t hassle you. They speak great English too so makes touring a bit easier. Take a day and enjoy all the works of art while getting a good walk in! Highly recommend as it is one of my favorite places which is saying a lot since I’ve been to 52 countries!…
