Who does not like walking here and seeing the ocean as well as the venders (don't be offended they are amazing-they do this for a living so show them some love!) the people. It is just an awesome place.

Plaza de las Armas is the perfect stop for photos, food, and the view of the water framed by the landmark columns. Do take a minute to appreciate the art & sculpture installations here and see the art for sale by the local artisans. This would be a great place to have lunch, though I suspect it can get crowded... This is a great place to find a bench or sit on the steps to rest and watch people. You can also find vendors selling their creations-art.

Across the street from Vallarta's main plaza, this area is used for children's entertainment many nights during the high season. Lots of clowns and other kids' charm the little ones!

It is a amphitheater. There was a dancing performance going on when we were there. I can't say more or less. There is probably some history that we did not fully appreciate. Would I go back? No.

This is a scenic spot and overlook on the Malecon. Stop as you stroll down the board walk. There's a new Puerto Vallarta sign nearby that is great for a photo to send back home.
