Another wonder of the World!

We saw and enjoyed so much during this trip. We stumbled upon this nature's gem, only north of our hotel and made a point to sit and relax almost daily!

There is more than trinket and t-shirts booths to this area. There is the cultural centre a few bars and restaurants on the isla curled. Enjoy a drink with the peaceful sound and view of the river. Also check out the neighbor hoods surrounding the river it is safe and you get to see more Puerto Vallartamthan the tourist stops.

Oh you have to go Isla Cuale, the shopping is awesome, and the locals are so much fun. Guaranteed you will find something that catches your eye and you can bargain on the price. Also try to walk across the swinging bridge without touching the wire sides. We do this every year. You have to go here.

Smack dab in the city core is this tree lined oasis in the middle of the Rio Cuale. Located below the roads and bridges that cross it you'll find a cool place to stroll, shop and dine, away from the crowds along the Malecon boardwalk and busy streets. Good wildlife viewing of cranes, iguanas and more. You can access from... More

One place to get all your shopping in, more enjoyable than walking along the front. So many vendors, lots of selection and be sure to negotiate down the price. If they start in US dollars turn it to pesos for a better price. There's a little foot bridge over the river; although it has a fence along it to stop... More

Standard tourist shops but beautiful setting. Picturesque and well appointed Mexican restaurant near the bridge over the river.

We started our visit here from the bridge that crosses the Rio Cualle. On the way through you will pass a number of resturaunts and artisan workshops before you come to the local market stalls. Here you can purchase all sorts of Mexican styled goods at reasonable prices. There are ample cafe's and bars on the route through and also... More

Each year we walk the markets. Most vendors offer the same merchandise. Great viewing for Iguana and fun rope bridge.

This is the perfect place to shop for Mexican items without having to suffer the scalding heat! You walk down to the river from the boardwalk and can stroll three blocks and shop, shop, shop! You have nice foliage to protect you from Vallarta's sun and will enjoy the many, quality locations to purchase Mexican good.
