If you are willing to spend a few hours in the soon looking for this incredible mammals this tour is totally worth it! The tour guide is very informed and well educated about the humpback whale. Vallarta adventures takes good care of the whales because respect the rules and regulations about no getting very close and no chasing them longer... More

We knew this was something we wanted to do, but I wasn't so sure about the inflatables they use. It so didn't matter. The ride was bouncy, but that was about it. Never even a hint of seasickness. But the whales...they were everywhere! And they were close, too! Definitely bring a camera because you can get some wonderful photos of... More

This was a fun way to get close to the whales with a small group. Definitely bouncy on an inflatable like this, but we don't get seasick, so loved it. If you get motion sickness at all, go on a bigger boat. The photographer and naturalist on board was great, sharing a lot of info about whales and answering questions.... More

Our boat was jam packed, could not move. It took awhile to find the whales. We did see quite a few. Wish there was less then 28 people on board. I would recommend using a company that limits the number of guests. Got very sore sitting in one place for hours.

We booked this tour through our hotel, and showed up at the port at the designated time. We were slightly confused as the tour concierge at the hotel and the ticket we received listed the tour time as 1130 and to arrive 30 minutes early. As it turned out the SHOW time was 12:00 for a 12:30 tour departure, so... More

Benjamin was our guide and wonderfully animated. We opted for the early 7:30 am start. You need a warm sweatshirt or fleece as it will start off rather cool. I was initially apprehensive about the boat as I don't travel well on water. I needn't have worried. The boat glided over the sea without any scary moments. The sightings were... More

We had the time of our lives on this tour! Initially we were a little apprehensive when we saw the small raft-like boat, with no bathrooms and only tiny seats but the experience made up for the lack of comfortable accommodations. We saw at least a dozen whales, including another and calf, as well as a "courting group" of males... More

The crew was good and made sure to find whales to observe (we were graced with the presence of two different sitings of two mothers with their calves, as well as three separate views of two different mating pods). Despite the long boat ride to locate the whales, it was a beautiful day and we enjoyed ourselves; however, we were... More

This tour was awesome! We sighted 10 humpback whales, a turtle, a manta ray and a school of dolphins. The guide, Benjamin, was excellent. He provided well timed details of these great creatures and had a wonderful sense of humour. The length of this tour is great, only 3 hours, so we didn't need to spend money going to places... More
