A photo captures a single moment in time, and this specialized excursion is designed to capture the magical moment when you encounter wild dolphins and majestic humpback whales in the Bay of Banderas. The essence of the Whale Photo Safari is to find the wildlife and enjoy those precious moments when you can sit peacefully and watch the whales and dolphins play, breach, or just hang out.

We went on the 8-11:00 adventure. We were warned upon leaving the marina that the whale watching was tough this year because of the low whale population due to El Nino. According to our tour guide, there are usually roughly 250-300 whales in Banderas Bay...More

We experienced that trip on February 17, 2016 and were anticipating some exciting whale sightings. Granted, we accepted the fact that whale sightings couldn't be promised, but there were other factors that took away from the pleasure of the trip. First, 28 of us were...More

Very nice tour. Good crew. Small zodiac for 30 passengers. Saw whales at a very close distance. Tour in the afternoon included a snack and water. If you want pictures bring your camera. No pictures taken by crew.

This excursion is the reason we never plan on doing an excursion again. We took the big boat, and were promised that it would be 3.5 hours, not to mention the whale gaurentee. We never saw any whales, which is understandable. But not only did...More

Marisel is very knowledgable about whales and the ocean, given the fact that she is a Oceanographer! Whale watching is a hit or miss, but the resort made the impression that whales were all over the place. When we boarded, Marisel said "this is the...More
