I had the pleasure of visiting this wonderful shop, while on vacation in Puerto Vallarta with my best friend and our wives. I was greeted by Lam, who accompanied us into the humidor to give his opinion on different cigars, and help us find some cigars which fit our taste. Lum was great and extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Great selection... More

PRELUDE: I have only been coming to PV for several years, but I have been smoking cigars since the 1970s. Wherever I travel I search out cigar shops not so much for cigars but rather for the commeraderie of other BOTLs (Brothers Of The Leaf). I prefer Cuban cigars and lived in SoCal for 40 years with a La Casa... More

A very welcoming place to buy your cigars, not cheap buy European standards, but a must visit, Gerry is a very knowledgeable guy, and with his wife's fantastic coffee I could sit and smoke and chat all day

This is a satellite store to a bigger shop a block away. It stays open on Sunday's and at night for those in need of a good late night cigar and Mojito. It has a well stocked humidor specializing in Cuban cigars. It has a nice selection also of Dominican and Nicauraguans. Jose Francisco was attending the store the Sunday... More

Before we left on our cruise South, I looked up La Casa del Habano cigar stores along our route. I was glad that I did. This turned out to be one of the best cigar store visits EVER. We got to this cigar haven just as it opened. We were met by Gerry and his lovely wife Marta. I was... More

Walk in and you are welcomed by Jerry he will take you in his humidor and tell you all about his cigars. I picked out a partagas #4 Series D we went down stairs Jerry slid me a cutter and lighter and said what do you want to know about Cuban cigars. I finished my partagas and I enjoyed learning... Friends went in to get cigars and we ended up staying for an hour or so sitting in comfortable leather couches and drinking cold beers while talking and learning some great facts about the world from the owners.

Found this place very easily, only one block off the Malecon boardwalk. Had read all of the reviews - this really is a great place to visit if you want authentic cuban cigars. Gerry Cohen who runs the place, is like the Dos Equis guy - one of the most interesting men in the world. He will regale you about... More

Hands down, the best place in P.V. for REAL Cuban cigars. Gerry & Martha are awesome. Gerry is a wealth of knowledge about all things tobacco and Martha makes one mean mojito. The selection of Cuban cigars is great. Gerry has amassed a great collection of vintage cigars. I had the privilege to smoke a now 25 year old Bolivar... More

I had the pleasure of visiting this wonderful shop, while wandering the streets of old downtown Puerto Vallarta. I was greeted by Lam, who accompanied me into the humidor to give his opinion on different cigars, and help me find some sticks which fit my taste. I picked out 4 or 5, and was invited by Lam downstairs, to enjoy... More
