I love how the Malecon has been improved. Great for walking along, people watching, grabbing something to eat or drink, shopping, watching the activity in the bay. I think of the vast improvements and am amazed. There were even several new statues added which blend in with the original ones that were there.

The malecon goes a very long way. It is fun to walk at any time of the day but I especially like it in the evenings. Warm ocean breezes, twinkling lights and lots to see. Love it!

The stroll along the mere on is always interesting. There are numerous statues, artistic installations and street entertainers. It is almost always busy but never boring.

If you want to see people out strolling or relaxing this is the spot. It is a lively place during the day but in the evening the local vendors and pop-up food spots come alive. we walked it every day.

It was a sunny day and high tide, when we visited the boardwalk and there were no sand sculptures or many shaded areas tosit. Overall it was good as it was not crowded
