This grand house was lovingly restored (by a wealthy Texas woman with oil money, we're told), and now includes an exclusive small hotel and classy restaurant. Good, though pricey, food, attentive service, and fabulous music entertainment at dinner. This Mariachi group was more like attending the opera and orchestra- absolutely outstanding! Be sure to tour the property.

The epitome of fine dining in Puerto Vallarta! Reservations required. Excellent food! The view from the terrace is spectacular! The service is second to none!

Food was pricy and small quantities. It was of average quality. The draw is that it is the home Elizabeth Taylor lived in while John Huston was directing The Night of the Iguana. Richard Burton lived next door and there is a archway bridge connecting the two homes.

Casa Kimberly is in a beautiful setting, perched atop a hill overlooking the town. I would try it again, but my first experience was extremely disappointing. Our table of 6 seems to have fallen between the cracks; we started out with one waiter, who went MIA, then called up 4 different waiters to see where our food was. A table... More

Absolutely recommend this restaurant as the whole experience was lovely! Well worth the cost for our excellent meal and service. We thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment as it was not the typical Mariachi band. We'll definitely return next time we are in Puerto Vallarta!

I have visited the Casa Kimberly several times when in Puerto Vallarta. PV is my favourite place on earth, & I can tell you with all certainty that what you see here is NOT what the home was like. The bridge which leads from Taylor's home to Burton's home was PINK..the pool was in disrepair, & the whole place was... More

Arrive early with plenty of time to enjoy the architecture. The live mariachi band is very entertaining.

Although we have never enjoyed eating at this new boutique hotel we have enjoyed the outside of her residence. Located in beautiful Gringo Gulch, with cobble stone streets and buildings covered with colorful flowers. The exquisite statue of Liz and Richard make a wonderful picture. The quaint bridge over the road where Richard would walk to see his lover, hopeng the... More

With Mariachi's strolling among the tables, we dined in splendor of the former home of Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. The food was an after thought compared to the museum like atmosphere.
