We took a day trip tour from Morelia and our guide, Alfredo, took us to Sierra Chincua reserve. It was about 45 min walk from the parking lot. It was nice and sunny day, so littellary millions of monarch flying around. It was amazing experience.
The place is nice but one should not go if the weather is cloudy.
The butterflies flutter only when there is a sun, otherwise sleeping.
