I just completed a tour of the Robert Brady House/Museum. It was well worth the $40Peso entry fee. It just amazes me that such a lovely place even exists. Not just the art and antiquities throughout the home, but the home itself. Imagine living in...More

Was pleased to spend an hour wandering the rooms and grounds of this lovely oasis in an otherwise unappealing city. It's clear that Cuernavaca was once an alluring draw for creative folks such as Brady and his circle of friends. All details of the house...More

In Cuernavaca's center... a precious private house made museum. I love this place for the peace you feel there, for its style, its colors, for the former owner's art collections you can enjoy there!

Left in same condition as when Robert Brady passed. Colors are amazing as is all the Mexican folk art. Same block as the Cathedral in the Centro Historico.

There are over 1300 pieces of primitive art in this building of 14 rooms. It was originally the astronomical observatory of Cuernavaca's second bishop. Robert Brady, a wealthy Northamerican, bought it in 1959. The kitchen is done in traditional Mexican style, and there are paintings...More

This museum was not so very long ago, the home of an American artist, world traveler and bon vivant, Robert Brady. Señor Brady filled this property, which literally backs onto the catedral, with art from his travels in Latin America and around the world. Not...More

The house where Robert Brady lived and left to the city to be used as a museum is quite fascinating. It is filled with art, including a Frida Kahlo self portrait, and hundreds of other interesting objects.

Robert Brady traveled all over the world and brought back artistic treasures that he left for people to enjoy. This museum is next to the cathedral.
