This time I didnt go. Since there are city jobs, building a train pass under the city. Now there is too much noise and dust arount the theater. But two years before I went and the experience was amazing.

Everything about Degollado is great; the building itself, the huge plaza in front of it, and the pleasant shows you can watch inside it. If you come to Guadalajara, you definitely should go here.

Teatro Degollado is the most beautiful theater in Guadalajara, the place is full of paints and spaces who take you to another century.

I thought it was a bigger theater. All my life I have heard about this theater and in my mind it was bigger.. majestic. In reality, I was dissapointed but I must admit I only saw it from the outside.

the entire downtown historic district was a great day of exploration. So many outstanding buildings, cathedrals, fountains, etc. You could easily spend days exploring this entire downtown area. Such great history!

Such a beautiful theater located at the Main Plaza. Looking at it you'll feel like you're in Europe. A must see when in Guadalajara.

Roman arches and huge fresco lit up by white and bluish spotlights make this a special treat. Located behind the main cathedral and government buildings. Easy walk when visiting the museum. Didn’t get inside as it was closed. Many street performers and visitors stroll in...More

The Festival is held the first 10 days of September. Events all over the City, but the most significant are in Centro area. An excellent hotel within walking distance is Hotel Morales.
