The palace doesn't stand out so much in the city center, since there are many beautiful buildings around, but it's still worth checking out. More importantly, it's absolutely worth going in and looking at the two murals inside. One of them is truly impressive in...More

This building flanked by an impressive square was build already in 160 but had to be rebuild in the last decades of Spanish rule following the earthquake. Artistically the main clam to glory are fabulous murals of Jose Clemente Orozco, but the place also has...More

Gorgeous building inside and out. Great paintings by Jose Clemente Orozco. Do not miss it! Hopefully there will be a docent who can explain the meaning behind the stunning paintings when you go. Learning about the art made for a wonderful experience for us.

A great little visit to this place is worth it to see Orozco's famous mural of Hidalgo. Don't miss this place! It is free and easy to access. Plus there are free clean public restrooms here. This was our go to place for many reasons!

You get to see one of the most famous frescoes by José Clemente Orozco. The congress hall is a must see inside. There’s also an interactive museum of the history of the city.

Nice little free museum in the middle of town. The murals are outstanding and the museum is interesting, but small. Worth a visit.

This is a place of work, but it's open for the public to view the Orozco murals in the stairway. They are fantastic. We were told to sit on the bottom step and look up to the ceiling for the best view.
