First time to Guadalajara so we (co-worker and I) stopped by this area as it had a lot of history to it. There really wasn't too much to see at this place other than walk around the monument for a few minutes. It was very pretty to see and only took a few minutes. Worth a stop but don't expect... More

Be sure to visit downtown Guadalajara. Walk and enjoy all the beautiful culture and architecture. There are lots of buildings to see and I am sure we missed a few. This was a pretty plaza for sure.

The Historical District of Guadalajara is filled with Art, Culture, Music, great food and a huge shopping district. I moved here 2 years ago from California and I am restoring a 200 hundred year old Colonial. There are many plazas where you can sit and people watch. There is ALWAYS something fun going on every weekend and it is usually... More

On Saturday there are all of the markets, seemingly endless. I Took the touristy double decker busses (Tapatio Tours) all over the city. It was so cool! I don't speak Spanish well but was able to get along great. People were very friendly.Street food was great.

This is a great place to start in Guadalajara! I was able to go on three bus tours of the city from this location for a great price! It's downtown in the center of the city nearby the Cathedral, plazas with fountains and statues, and other attractions. You haven't "been" to Guadalajara without going here.

This is a beautiful central location. I checked out a few of the beautiful buildings & churches, then picked up a double-decker bus here and took a tour of the city.

This is a beautiful city, very interesting to see everyday life happen amidst such beautiful antiquity. Heavy wrought iron balconies and church doors, squares, churches, there's nothing I did not like about this culturally rich city. Very warm people, Excellent local food.
