It might be a bit of a tourist trap, but the food is very tasty, a great experience to the local cuisine, reasonable prices, and in a small little oasis of a plaza area. It's a very charming spot. I tried both the birria de...More

The Nine Corners (there are actually nine corners, the only place like this in México), is the place to eat great Birria (smoked, tender, spicy beef). Hangover? They got you covered.

I think there is some confusion from the other reviewers. This listing says Nueve Esquinas (Las). It does not say Birrieria las 9 Esquinas. I believe this listing to be about the 9 corners area which is very nice. It is not about just the...More

There's about everything around the area-but the best time to visit is for breakfast. Most of the time there are some colorful fruit (that are very sweet) call Pitayas. Try them. They are delicious. They grow on the nopal.

Worth walking to if you have time. Birria restaurants all around the plaza. Mariachi musicians most of the afternoon and evening. A taste of old and current Tapatio lifestyle. Fun place to take photos.

Here they can enjoy a good plate of Birria, which is a typical dish of Jalisco. The flavor of this place is unique. Also if you prefer you can enjoy a good "mole verde" or "cochinita pibil".

I love birria, and had looked forward to eating it in the region where it was first created—Jalisco. Birrería La 9 Esquinas was a very good place to enjoy this dish of spiced, slowly cooked goat meat. The restaurant is charming, the service o.k, and...More
