Not Just a Religious Experience

The views from this Christ monument are spectacular. The feeling of the strong religious sentiment is present everywhere. One walks away with a feeling of renewed spirituality.

Great to learn, about the faith from the people who walk, in a very up inclined walk road, to meet the monument.

Experience the terrain of Guanajuato from a place in the clouds. 30 meters high, this statue is bronze cast and magnificent.

What a place, I recommend to go with guides. A place full of history and meaning. The view is amazing, so the sunset.

If you're in the area, do take the time to go here. If you rent a car or take a bus, it's worth the trip. I felt like all the worries I had were lifted off of my shoulders.

The trip up is worth the experience by itself. Once there it is a most interesting monument and religious setting. The height allows for excellent views of the countryside below. Your height?.. well a condor flew by and we were looking at him at the same height... and that bird flies high. Worth the trip and the visit.

Well above GTO, the monument is impressive (its windy and much cooler so bundle up) and there is a small, quirky museum. Learned about about the troubled history of the Church... More
