Stayed here a week and loved all the chic cafes, humble taquerias and mescal patio bars. Great for strolling day and night. We felt very safe.

If you plan to go to Mexico City, please stay in this area. It is so nice. Great places for food and drinks in a very relaxed atmosphere and surrounded by lots of green.

We stayed in the La Condesa/Hipodromo area in CDMX for approximately 3 days. I would highly recommend this area and here is why: 1. Abundant flora and trees offering a green canopy of shade and sunbeams cutting through it. Nowhere else in CDMX did the...More

Condesa is replete with excellent restaurants and lovely buildings. The problem is that it is earthquake sensitive. It is doubtful that another quake will come along soon but this lovely neighborhood suffered the damage of many buildings.

We recall many encounters in the friendly neighborhood, with people bicycle riding from home to office, stopping at cafes and restaurants. Unfortunately, nature has turned this area into a quiet place, where you can still feel the effects that it has done. However, people are...More

Easy to explore either on bike or foot, Condesa offers
a great variety of activities and places to visit
while admiring its neo-colonial architecture. Diverse
restaurants vary from regional to global along its
streets, while local bars even let you craft your own
beer. The urban yet relaxing vibe let visitors cycle
or stroll on the Amsterdam Circuit.

If there’s other choices, I would stay somewhere else as there are multiple blockages still at that area. It’s good for visits though just the buildings are not the safest there. Cary
