Diegos and other artists' murals on floors one and two were beautiful, especially in the context of such a gorgeous building. There is nominal charge for a ticket to see the murals, but it's well worth it. On the third floor is an architectural museum....More

The architecture is a mix of art deco and Spanish Colonial, very eclectic. Very pretty actually! Unless you spend a lot of money to see a show or the art collection there is not much to do or see. The restaurant looks nice but also...More

The beauty of this Art Deco building, both inside and out, took my breath away. The murals by Diego Rivera and Sequieros are dramatically set off on their own huge walls. You can see the Rivera mural that John D. Rockefeller commissioned for Rockefeller Center...More

We toured the Palacio de Bella Artes. It is magnificent. Don't bother with the tour. All in Spanish and only offered a view from the balcony after a half hour talk.

From the artwork to the Art Deco architecture, to the grounds outside, this is a must see. This is my favorite site in Mexico City.

I was mainly interested in seeing the art deco design inside, but also paid to see the exhibitions. Unfortunately many of the exhibits weren't open, which was a little disappointing, so just had access to the 2nd floor murals, which are pretty impressive.

This beautiful park was once the playground for the

the perfect place where locals and visitors can spend
a sunny weekend afternoon to relax or shop for
souvenirs at the market. Kids can run around or grab a
bite of cotton candy while teens and adults wander
around admiring the charming gardens and the
sculptures that adorn it. Once the heat rises, it may
