I had the privilege to stay in this hotel for a wedding which took over the entire property, and it was wonderful to see the beautiful historic property in it's full regalia. My room was large, comfortable, light and well-equipped as was the bathroom, but sadly with a view of a wall, others apparently have views of the Zocalo. The... More

Please if you have any time the opportunity to visit Mexico City and will be in one of the oldest but greatest Hotel in Downtown you should visit this Iconic and almost a Museum Hotel. The Rooms, the XIX Century Elevator, everything is a must.

Wish we'd stayed here! Beautiful old hotel. Had early evening cocktails and snacks on this lovely roof terrace with incredible view over Zocalo. Sadly Daniel Craig not there though! Lovely waiters Alex Z and Oscar.

Have a drink and take in the very heart of a country. Although I've never stayed at the hotel, we enjoy drinks on their top floor terrace overlooking the Zocalo. Hotel is beautiful with lots of history.

Friendly and caring personnel. Gorgeous hotel with Art Deco influence. Small and quiet; luxurious and delightful. Couldn't have been more pleased.

Did not stay here, but looked inside at stained glass and wrought iron. Would consider staying here next visit.

Stunning interior. Didn't stay here. But the lobby is spectacular. Rooftop restaurant has stunning view of the zocolo. But beware, if you are not staying in the hotel, they will not give a seat with the view. You can walk over and see the view, we had a cocktail there. The drink was excellent, the service was slow. I suspect... More

We spent a week at the Gran Hotel and were so glad we chose this hotel. It's historic, has great charm, all the staff were most helpful. The room was large enough, quiet (not overlooking the Zocalo), and housekeeping was excellent. This hotel is in the center of the Historic District and short walks to many interesting sites (5-10 min).... More

This hotel is one of the grand hotels of Mexico City. Built around the turn of the last century the hotel is completely renovated and very comfortable. The loby is great. It is a museum reflecting on all of the many famous people who have stayed here. They serve an excellent breakfast to get your day off to a good... More
