Since we read about this hotel we just went in to take a look. It has a great location and it is beautiful, there is a restaurant at the 4th floor with a great view of the Cathedral and National Palace. Adan and Eduardo served us at the restaurant, they were extremely friendly and courteous, the service and the food... More

This place is amazing! Great location, architecture, and ambiance. The food at the restaurant was outstanding and the Margaritas even better. The staff was truly welcoming. The waiters Adan and Eduardo provided great service as well as the bartender Soyano & the captain Lizeth. Highly recommend this place!

Good hotel with spacious rooms. Wish staff was a little more friendly/outgoing! Hotel is a bit pricey compared to other hotel around the area but it is cool to stay at least once while in Mexico!

Great architecture Art Nouveau of the end of 1890s, gourgeous stained glass on the roof, lobby, elevator and social areas. We sleep one nigth with the Zocalo view, the hall was dark and the room look and feel "old" even the mattress, after all it was a nice experience.

The hotel can be a little hard to find especially at night. I arrived around 1AM from Toronto and was dropped off down the street from the hotel as the road was blocked. 7:30 AM the next morning, the "national guard" had a flag raising ceremony which was neat. We had an amazing lunch served to us By Eduardo and at least 3 other waiters. The soup was delicious and the salad also. even more incredible was the view of the Zocalo. I would highly recommend the amazing attentive waiters, the delicious food, and the incredible views.

The building and specially the roof are great. The hotel itself is not good. The location is fine if your interest is visiting the old down town.
