Located in the heart of Paseo de la reforma, it is a big and beautiful statue of the heroic Aztec emperor - Cuauhtémoc.

The Monument to Cuauhtémoc is a statue located at the Paseo de la Reforma along with many others. It was erected in 1887 dedicated to the last Mexica ruler (tlatoani) , and is located at the intersection of Avenida de los Insurgentes and Paseo de la Reforma. The statue is very well design with details but need more attention to the surrounding area. Because it is located in the middle of the 2 main Avenues, it is a little tricky to try to be at the statue. However, a view from the street is fine if you happen to be in the area.
