I was walking around the area and accidentally find this place. I was very amazed by the interior architectural design. I did more research online after the visit and realized it is a landmark in Mexico City. There are a few other landmarks and nice restaurants in the area. I strongly recommend to swing by and check it out if... More

We just went into the building, took pictures, admired the architecture. The craftmanship is amazing. You can almost imagine what it must have looked like way back in the days with beautifully dressed people going about their mail business at the counters. Everything seemed so intact, untouched, even now.

For a nostalgic of handwritten letters this is a magic place. If you are not a romantic, the building deserves a visit anyway. There is a wonderful staircase and all the counters are a piece of art. Go there!

The building of the main postal office is spectacular, but the museum located inside is pretty small and underwhelming. Few pieces on display consist of some uniforms documents, photos, tools of the trade and stamps. Explanations are in Spanish, which does not help. Ok for a quick look but not worth too much time unless you speak fluent spanish.

This is a personal favorite of mine. Beautiful in an outside and very well maintained. Check the work in the staircase and elevators, is beautiful!

This is the building of the post office. Probably one of the most beautiful buildings in Mexico City..... aN absolute must if you are in the Bella's Artes area.

There are post offices and there is post offices. Imagine a post office in The Great Gatsby and it will give you an idea of what's like. I only came here as a friend needed a stamp. What a pleasant surprise this place was.

This was a surprise...a gorgeous building in the historic central district. We saw a photo display and took note of all sorts of gorgeous designs and building materials- especially liked the marble on the walls and floors.

Neighbourhood Profile
This beautiful park was once the playground for the wealthiest families in the colonial era, and is now the perfect place where locals and visitors can spend a sunny weekend afternoon to relax or shop for souvenirs at the market. Kids can run around or grab a bite of cotton candy while teens and adults wander around admiring the charming gardens and the sculptures that adorn it. Once the heat rises, it may be time to visit one of the many cozy restaurants or cafés with its characteristic art nouveau facades to cool down and call it a day.
