We rented a people carrier with a driver and safely arrived at the Basilica's main gate and wee picked up two hours later. We prayed and saw the shrine, we went up to the hill of Tepeyac where our lady appeared to Juan Diego. We also bought rosary beads and candy at shop behind the sacristía We ordered a few... More

This Mexican treasure is for all ages and tastes. Beware the climb! I got 3/4 of the way up and started to see double and breathing became a little difficult so stopped while the rest of the family continued then all went down together. There are handrails almost the whole way up (just the first portion is without) and highly... More

Took a day tour with Turibus to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadeloupe, Teotihuacán and an Arts & Crafts Cooperative. Sights are incredible. Take a hat & water for the Pyramids as the site is stunningly beautiful, hot has so much to explore. Give the sellers at that site a miss in favour of shopping at the cooperative if... More

Get ready to feel some amazing vibes in Teotihucan and the Basilica de Guadalupe. The magnitude of faith of the Basilica and the grandiosity of the pyramids will make this day one that you will never forget. My kids 10 and 5 climbed both pyramids without a problem.

First, we didn't make it to Basilica Lady of Guadalupe (my historical ADD kicked in). But, I strongly recommend visiting Teotihuacan. It's a good break from the City and enjoyable 2-4 hour excursion. I know there are all day trips but like I said, i suffer from historical ADD but I did enjoy reliving my 7th grade social studies class... More

I've never seen anything like it. Moving stairs underneath the Basilica and so many people giving their respects in prayers.

Viator is a very reliable company to use for sightseeing in Mexico City. Our guide, Alejandra, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly; we enjoyed her company. We had a slight problem with our initial pickup, but that was entirely our fault. Once we contacted her, she came back to get us and we were able to do our tour. That was... More

The pyramids are the thing to go and see and easy to get to when staying in the city centre. Just breathtaking

Definitely worth the visit but with a guide to explain everything. We were lucky and there weren't many other visitors so it was not crowded. We went around lunch time, perhaps a good time?

If not, go see the tilma...which has surived fire and bombs....from the 1500's....and as you view ask Our Lady to open your heart. You... More
