This was the last stop on our Monopolis Tour, which we arranged through our Hotel Geneve concierge. The tour started from the Krystal Hotel on La Reforma, after we visited the Monopolis office and paid for our tour. PS they do charge you 10% extra to use a charge card. The tour was still a good value. See Tlatelolco pyramid... More

I have used Viator in the past, before it was devoured by Trip Advisor, now I would only use this as a last resort. The price is a sign of the quality I think, 'you get what you pay for'. The tour bus was tatty, dirty, and smelled. We managed to visit all of the unwanted stores, Silver shop and... More

We booked a tour. It was good as only a small mini van so all up there were 9. We were picked up from our hotel as staying in the historical centre. It was quite a late pick up for a tour at 9.30am. Our guide was very informative and spoke excellent English. The problem in some cases was he... More

Booked online though City Discovery; supplied by Mexitours. Possibly slightly cheaper if purchased direct. The Mexitours' pickup van was nearly an hour late. Traffic was light, so that was no excuse. We were then transferred from van to van, and then once again, before they had assembled a group of 7 English speakers. Van, driver and tour guide were adequate.... More

I did not enjoy the brutal sun and wind, sand blowing in our faces.. heavy duty walking and climbing.. Good guide, but would not do it if I had known.

Gigantic! This is a national icon in Mexico, where millions of Mexicans visit their Patroness, the Lady of Guadalupe. This is a must visit if you´re traveling to Mexico city. You can feel the religious devotion all over the place. A special feature of the majestic church, is that you walk sorrounding the altar and you can appreciate the Virgin... More

I have taken Viator tours all over the globe and they have consistently been excellent all the way around. I had a busy working trip in Mexico City and, unfortunately, couldn't make the pyramids trip I booked. After an explanation of time restraints and flight difficulties Viator was understanding and reimbursed me for the cost of the missed trip. Thanks... More

We rented a people carrier with a driver and safely arrived at the Basilica's main gate and wee picked up two hours later. We prayed and saw the shrine, we went up to the hill of Tepeyac where our lady appeared to Juan Diego. We also bought rosary beads and candy at shop behind the sacristía We ordered a few... More

This Mexican treasure is for all ages and tastes. Beware the climb! I got 3/4 of the way up and started to see double and breathing became a little difficult so stopped while the rest of the family continued then all went down together. There are handrails almost the whole way up (just the first portion is without) and highly... More
