Great experience! It is worth the time to visit la fiesta brava. After killing the bull they eat it so don't feel bad about it. A Mexico that I forgot existed.

My guidebook wrote about how Bullfighting in Mexico is still revered as an important sport, and having not been or experienced a Bullfight my husband and I decided to take the opportunity to see one. My guide book indicated that these take place every Sunday...More

This is the real deal. Very inexpensive $70 MEX (about USD$5). Sometimes the bull wins. You need to go to at least one bullfight in your life to truly understand Spanish culture. Don't go if you are squeamish. Take Uber and you will get there...More

One of the highlight's of our trip, however, if you are an animals right's activist, don't go. Accept that this is tradition there and you will enjoy it. The matadors can get quite entertaining with their antics and the crowds and people watching are enjoyable...More

Wow, what a spectator experience! We went the only time of the season where female matadors are featured on December 28th, 2014. Unfortunately the first matador was hit/trampled three times. After being trampled the first time, she was carried out by a group of men....More

This is one of the premier bull fight venues in the world. Don't go unless you read about this sport, and understand a little. The animal rights comments on this forum are silly, of course, but reflect the propensity of tourists to visit sites or...More

We attended a spectacle in September of 2013. Both of us had been looking forward to this event. Bullfighting is a cultural aspect of the country. I understand that people who against this, however I believe everything we have and everything we do is to...More
