This is actually the 3rd church built on this place, so while the area is very old, the church itself is relatively modern (about 300 years old) and it has a lot of fine decorations. It's also located on a well preserved historic plaza.

As soon as I walked into this church I was absolutely starstruck. All the gold blew me away! When I went, there was a service in progress so I had to wait a little bit before being able to walk closer. When visiting this church...More
