This is a beautiful building. You'll want to make sure to step inside, it's exceptional. We walked past here on our way into town everyday, and the plaza is always full of life.

Worth seeing - Surprising Effort and Resources by Spain especially compared to contemporaneous North America buildings.

I only got to peek inside as it was Saturday and weddings were booked but what I saw was eye popping grandeur. We we told couples come from all over Mexico to be married there and I could see why.

No lo recuerdo ver algo. Como es un monumento antiguo, dudo mucho que haya. Estoy tratando de recordar de fuera, ni hay rampa, creo!

The best guide ever is Omar Lescas Diaz. His English is wonderful and he knows "all" the history of the area. It may not be worth his while to do one building like this. He is excellent for Monte Alban and the natural tour... More
