Our hotel was right next to this artisanal shop specializing in alebrijes (intricate wooden, brightly-colored animal carvings). They have a wonderful selection at good prices. Make sure you make a visit here while you're in Oaxaca!

Amazing gallery that contain unique pieces of art made by local artisan. Afterwards you can enjoy a coffee, tea, smoothie, etc. It really is worth your time and an excellent place to have a rest.
