I have left a review on the Native Choice web site but am covering all bases. We had a thoroughly enjoyable tour a few weeks ago in March. We were on the cruise ship and the walk was quite simple from the terminal. The company is very professional and experienced. All provisions were first class from the bottled water to... More

Toured in April 2016 off the Norwegian Dawn. It was an easy walk from the Costa Maya dock to the Native Choice office where we were greeted with ice cold bottled water (which was available the whole day). Our van was nearly new and very comfortable. Our guide, Edder was very friendly and informative about the natural, cultural, and historic... More

We traveled 2 hours inland to the Dzibanche ruins to hike to the top. Alex was very informative and his English is awesome! Nothing compares to seeing the forest with real monkeys going from tree to tree in their native habitat. (Plus, it was not very thick vegetation as to be expecting snakes to slither.) This is a trip that... More

Angela was on time, focused ( and kept our group focused which was as difficult as hearding cats!) very experienced, very well educated in the local history and customs. Exceptional people skills. We had a very short time constraint. Other tours passed on our interest in seeing the Mayan Ruins with such a short amount of time available. Angela went... More

The tour began with about a 45 minute ride in a new van to the Chacchoben ruin site. The ruins are huge, much larger than I expected. Our tour left about 8:00 a.m. and our guide did a great job of getting us to the site ahead of the other tours so we had the place to ourselves. He did... More

Angela and Audie were our guides for this interesting tour of Tulan. They were so informative and friendly. They gave us great insight into the lives and customs of the mayans who inhabited this place that it came alive with their descriptions and stories. Don't miss this.

Our guide, Kasi, was wonderful. No matter how many questions we had, she was ready with answers. She was sweet and accomodating. Our driver, Pedro, was just great, too.

We booked our own excursion with Native Choice, rather than going through the Carnival ship offerings. Audie was our tour guide for the day. He was very attentive to everyone on the ferry over to Playa Del Carmen, and throughout the tour. Although were were on a tight timeline from the ship, we did not feel rushed at all. We... More
