The Palancar Gardens were the most beautiful corals I have ever seen. We did not see a ton of variety in marine animals, but I imagine if the hanging gardens of Babylon were an undersea attraction, this would be it.

I dove Palancar gardens, caves, and bricks. I profiled 60’-80’. Hardly any current and clear water. Great for taking pictures. I personally like the large coral formations. Caves, swim thru’s, canyons to swim in and around. If the dive boats would drop me off here...More

One of my 2 dives that day with Sand Dollar Sports was to Palancar Reef. I'm new'ish to diving (25 dives) yet this remains my most favorite dive to date. Beautiful, healthy reefs to easily drift-dive through. This one will sell you on the idea...More

I can't scuba dive but the snorkeling is beautiful. The fish are like something more beautiful than reality. An amazing experience that I enjoyed even as a beginner.

Excellent swim-throughs and critters. Plenty of fish. Lots of hogfish and triggers, groupers, angels, turtles, and many others.

We did the snorkel excursion on the Heat Wave which was booked through the dive house at Secrets Aura Cozumel This was the best snorkeling we have ever done (we don't snorkel very often), but we were taken to places that had a good variety...More

One of your best shots of seeing a sea turtle. Was my lucky day and had one swim directly under me while snorkeling. Less then 3 foot away. Was AWESOME

We use Chichicharters for our trips but we like to be alone. Almost all the resorts offer a charter just ask they when you arrive and tell them where you want to go. Or go to chichi Carter's web site

Cabs are everywhere, and pretty reasonable. Some cabs take credit cards, so ask your driver. They take US dollars. Do NOT use the standalone ATMs that are on the street. They are notorious for eating your card and there... More
