Terrific diving. Check out a dive company called Palancar. They run a very smooth operation. Highly recommend them.

My favorite is Palancar Caves, but Palancar Gardens is rich and wonderful, Palancar Deep great, too. Beautiful towering coral, great swimthroughs, lots to explore, and current usually enough that you can drift comfortably but not get swept away from your group.

The encounters were nothing short of amazing. There were spotted eagle rays on almost every dive. I could not wait to see what each jump in would lead to. It has been a magnificent and amazing trip.

Palancar Bricks, Garden, and Caves were the most spectacular dives sites I've ever explored. Absolutely amazing dive throughs, tunnels and caves to explore. I would suggest being an intermediate diver to fully enjoy the experience while respecting the environment. Great place to fine tune ones...More

One of my favorite dive sites in Cozumel. Even in December, shorty wetsuits were comfortable. Temp and viz were great. Spotted five sea turtles on this dive.

Palancar Reef has both amazing formations and awesome sea life. As we swam around spires and through tunnels, we saw a bevy of triggerfish, angel fish, lobsters, and so many other creatures. I’ve dived Belize and the Great Barrier Reef, among other places, and Palancar...More

Its a lovely dive but after diving it for many years you can see the wear and tear on the coral and sea life. You need to have good buoyancy to not kill coral with fluttering fins :(

You need a guide to see this reef from a boat. The coral was very large and high. Turtles were spotted and many large fish. See Beach break Cozumel for location and appointment.

Palancar has multiple sites from the Gardens to the Caves. Some areas are starting to show some wear from the large # of divers. During a week of diving several dives to different parts of Palancar are a must. Make sure you bring your SMB...More

I took a very reasonable excursion for $59 to the Palancar Reef and the Starfish Sanctuary and I loved it!! We snorkeled for 45min at the first stop (the reef) and it was about 45ft deep. Water was very clear and I was able... More

I think what you’re looking for is actually a dive shop. Most of them will take trips out with snorkelers and divers. Check websites. Some locations like paradise Reef are great for snorkeling and diving, however if you go... More
