The drinks were too expensive. We stopped to have a few drinks. Fortunately, we stopped at the bar first before finding a table and paid in pesos for our first two drinks. The total came to 280 pesos for 2 Tecate beers. I do believe...More

We loved snorkeling here! It is more low key than some of the other beach clubs. The food was just so-so but I'd come back for the snorkeling!

Because of storms the night before dirtying the waters at Playa Palancar, We moved closer to town to Corona. The water was clear, the snorkeling was very good surprisingly (from off the beach – a plus), and we played volleyball. It is not the most...More

This was our second stop of our day in Cozumel. We LOVED it. Quiet and not crowded, which we wanted. Snorkeling was great and so were the drinks. Delicious salsa! Very relaxing and beautiful.

Menu prices are already super high for Cozumel without deception. Server miscalculated our bill by about $15 USD. We were the last people there and there was a lot of posturing and intimidation involved in resolving this issue, as if it was a negotiation. Had...More

We went to Playa Corona for a second time on a recent cruise. It's an easy, inexpensive cab ride from the port. We like Playa Corona because even when it’s a crowded day in port, Playa Corona is quiet. Most cruise passengers choose the larger, more...More

A convenient stop for snorkeling. No admission fee but pressure to purchase food. No lockers, but our stuff stayed safe. Would that always be the case?

We stop here many times during our visits to Cozumel. Service, food, and drinks are awesome. The wait staff is very friendly. Great snorkeling area too! Or, just lay in the sun in a peaceful setting.

Food and drinks were good, but the real highlight was the snorkeling. They have convenient steps into the water and if you swim directly to the right, there is a large area near the hsore that is roped off to allow the corals to grow...More

We enjoyed a half day at Playa Corona. After some excellent snorkeling right off the beach, we had a great lunch of chicken enchiladas, shrimp burritos and guacamole. The mojitos with fresh mint were excellent. After lunch, we relaxed on the beach. The staff were...More

I say it's more like a 10 minute drive, depending on traffic by the port. It cost us $12 for me, my husband and 3 yo son by taxi.

We will be in Cozumel in 2 months and wanted to know if the Corona Beach Club had lockers. Also, some reviews have stated there was a cover charge and others have said no cover. We would stay all day for lunch, drinks and snorkeling. Thanks everyone for the great reviews of this place. Look forward to our cruise.
