Punta Morena is a calm and quiet beach in the east side of the island farder away from the main cruise beaches,in our stablishment we have many ammenities such as: a seefood and mayan cousin restaurant, coktel drinks in the bar, massages, 3 pools (2 for children 1 for adults) big chairs on the beach, hammocks, a natural pool made between the rocks in the ocean (so its safe from big waves)and one of the best panoramic views to the caribbean ocean.

Arrived here via the cruise ship Carnival Magic on January 8, 2018. No complaints. Hired a taxi for a few hours and this was our second stop, time to eat and get our feet wet. Place was empty at 11am. Had it to ourselves practically....More

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely margarita and fajita lunch overlooking the Caribbean today. The fajitas portions are large and were plenty to share with choice of chicken, beef or shrimp. The margarita was tasty and was made with fresh lime juice, a real...More

Extremely slow service, waiters charge $$ in every order. Get ready cash (a lot of), they say they accept credit card when you arrive. Once seated they say card reader is not working. The beach is awesome, excellent for snorkeling.

We like the slower pace of this area. Locals are not as pushy. The beach is fun but not really for little children.

Well I honestly don't know. I would try to contact them before hand. It's a very relaxed atmosphere and just showing up may work if you are not requiring their services for anything but good and drink services.

You do not need reservations, but it is not a free beach. I would recommend reservations and get a package deal that includes transportation as well as the beach amenities. You can go through a company like Shore Trips... More
