Punta Morena is a calm and quiet beach in the east side of the island farder away from the main cruise beaches,in our stablishment we have many ammenities such as: a seefood and mayan cousin restaurant, coktel drinks in the bar, massages, 3 pools (2 for children 1 for adults) big chairs on the beach, hammocks, a natural pool made between the rocks in the ocean (so its safe from big waves)and one of the best panoramic views to the caribbean ocean.

A huge and laid back beach joint on the wild side.

This place is expansive with all manner of beach chairs, bar tables, and hammocks. There seems to be no charge to use the beach, and no pressure to buy food and drink. However... read more

Our original excursion was cancelled so we ended up going to Punta Moreno. We were very pleased with our decision. The view was spectacular. We were able to do some snorkeling. We were able to see crab and a variety of fish close to shore. Some of us ventured out farther and saw a lot more. We would definitely go... More

We stopped at Punta Morena as part of the Cozumel Bar Hop Tour. This was a super fun place - from the pool & hammocks to the views of the ocean!! Nice to put toes in water!~ I love places like this off the beaten path that have so much to look at! The drinks were GREAT and CHIPS &... More

Looking forward to returning here on our next trip to Coz. One of the few sandy beaches we encountered. Restaurant right nearby. Incredible views and a fun coastal drive to get there.

This place is expansive with all manner of beach chairs, bar tables, and hammocks. There seems to be no charge to use the beach, and no pressure to buy food and drink. However, the drinks are a bit pricey, so that could be how their system works.

We were staying at the Iberostar Cozumel and rented a jeep for the day. we stumbled upon this place and we just loved it. We got there early in the morning and pretty much had the place to ourselves, the beach was lovely. It is free to enter, however under the assumption that you will buy food or drinks. They... More

Punta Morena has been our FAVOURITE east-side beach for years. Unfortunately it has lost its appeal. We've been there now four times during our winter stay in Cozumel this year, but if we return, it will NOT be to eat or drink. The beach itself is lovely and we appreciate the shade provided with the lounge chairs and hammocks. Unfortunately... More

Very expensive for mediocre food with poor service and a ripoff included. Not impressed at all with anything here. When we sat down I asked for menu in pesos. When the bill came they overcharged me by more than 200 pesos. What they did was use the dollar price and multiplied time the exchange rate. This maximizes the cost. I... More

This was our favorite place to end our day by laying in one of the hammocks and enjoying a drink from the bar on the beach. Guacamole was also amazing. Everyone there was very nice and accommodating! Felt like they were our friends by the time we left!

This is a quiet beach on the eastern side of the island. There is a restaurant with average prices for the food and drink. There are some hammocks to swing on and to enjoy the ocean views and breeze. Sand is a little rocky, you will need shoes or flip flops. I say that this beach is geared to tourists... More
