My wife and I are like FAMILY to the DIAMONDSINTERNATIONAL family, we also shop the EFFY stores. I can say we have not ever had a problem like I'm reading with these other people. 1st of all you won't find a 1/2 carat diamond for $1500.00 and then even lower that means the diamond is FAKE. 2ND if you shop... A lot of too-good-to-be true offers. Beware of first-time prices. Their markup is substantial. Case in point: a loose 1/2 carat diamond at first offering of $1300. After much dickering and realizing I was being duped, I was followed out the door and given a final offer for this 1/2 carat diamond of $75.00. My final response: NOPE!

The shops are all overpriced ..much of the stuff is the same in all the shops . The shop owners will follow you around ..making better offers . Watch out for the jewelry-they say it is silver .925 ...yes the clasp is stamped but the rest or many pieces will turn green in a few days

After exiting the ship and crossing the pier (with beautiful views), you first enter the pier shopping area. Here you find numerous stores with affordable items, such as jewelry, shirts, etc. One area is a small mall with a second floor with more stores. I suggest getting a map ASAP so you don't miss any of the stores. I also... More

The taxis are told to take you here and there's advertisements in their cabs. Stay away. Too many pushy vendors and not a fun experience at all.

We had about an hour to shop after our excursion. The actual stores are fine, but if you go to the straw huts be warned. They are rude, overpriced and extremely pushy. For your own safety I would recommend staying on the main thorofare. We started up one of the side aisles two stores up a male said "come over... More

Pushy sales people seems very overpriced. The local tequila is great😁 store owners probably pay him to get the tourists drunk so they spend there cash😂 In general I try to avoid this place😁
