Absolutely beautiful! The walkway down in the art exhibit was one of my favorite spots on the island! The food at the restaurant is also very good!

Punta Sur is a beautiful, rocky sculpture park that provides winding pathways to the southern tip of Isla Mujeres. The Caribbean breezes keep you cool while you walk along the pathways and enjoy the island art. When you get to the southern, tip, there are waves crashing into the large rocks that sit right off the island. I suspect this... More

Punta Sur is a beautiful spot where you get off your golf cart, taxi or scooter to just relax and view the scenery of the bay meeting the Caribbean. Well worth a visit and don't be in a hurry, grab a margarita or a tequila or go view the small maya ruin at the very end of the island for... More

Great views, nice walk, strong waves, well worth the effort to get there. Even the 2,4 and 5 yrs olds walked well with us.

This is a must stop if your doing a golf cart tour of the island. A good place to have lunch or grab a refreshment, mossy through some shops, stretch your legs, and see the ruins and statuesque art work. We still enjoy going there.

We took our golf cart and headed down the road to Punta Sur. Beautiful drive along the way from Playa Norte. I believe the entrance fee is $4. Well worth it. There is a walkway along the Caribbean very beautiful. Iguanas all over the place. Went to The Joint for a drink after great bar !!!

We visited this place for the first time 8 years ago, and were struck this year by the amount of damage the steel sculptures had sustained, from being exposed to the elements. Some of the statues were literally rusting away, and falling apart - it looked like the setting for a post-apocalyptic film. This was made more poignant by the... More

We arrived at Punta Sur via a rented golf cart and were blown away by the views! It was gorgeous! We saw some ruins at the very end and a vast array of modern sculpture inspired by the history of the island. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes, as it's a lot of walking and some of the stairs are... More

When we were last here in June many large sea turtles were mating in the waves. We're told this is an annual event and it was a wonderful experience for all of us!

Beautiful view but someone had put metal scrap in the landscape (art?) and thus we had to pay an entrance fee to walk to the actual point (that was far to high). The restaurant was extremely overpriced and the dirty toilets costed a lot to use. We used a golf cart to get there (beautiful ride) and when we left,... More
