Great boat trip to El Farito - lots of fish!

We saw the most fish here and the biggest variety. Saw barracuda, sea star, and the standard variety seen elsewhere around the area.

One of the tours we booked took us to snorkel here and it was the best. The sea life is alive and thriving. They know you go there to feed them, so they are ready and waiting for food.

The snorkeling trip was excellent. Roberto was a fantastic guide and they went out of their way to get us out to the reefs early so that our group had a fairly private trip and did not have to deal with throngs of people. The trip was then wrapped up with an excellent barbequed fish lunch. I would strongly recommend... More

Have you ever been experienced...in snorkeling?:) We took a snorkeling excursion that included the lighthouse. If this is your first time, you are going to love it. They feed the fish from the boat to give you a preview. Then they drop you off in the current to bring you around the lighthouse. There are some barracudas and minor other... More

I think the fish stop here just so they can be photographed! You can see so many varieties of fish here it's amazing! We are definitely coming back to Isla Mujeres as a single stop all together and this site is on our must see again list!

We didn't take a snorkel tour, we kayaked around the bay, pulled kayaks onto rocks, then snorkelled until we were tired . Beautiful fish, easy snorkelling on a calm day.

This was an awesome place to snorkel. It had an abundance of tropical fish and nice structure. I have never seen so many schools of barracuda. I have been diving for 40 years and have never seen so many cuda in one area. I thought it was cool. My wife really doesn't like barracuda, but thought it was also very... More

My husband and boys were able to kayak out here from our hotel. The weather and water had finally calmed down enough for the snorkeling to be good. All over the island the weather had really effected the snorkeling for about a week or so. My kids are 10, 8 and 7. There were able to snorkel around and see... More

Unique experience snorkeling around coral covered rocks around the lighthouse--at snorkeling depth in open sea. Lots of large fish, angels, grunts and snappers. Biggest barracudas I've ever seen.

We wer delighted by how many different types of fish and the number of fish that we saw at El Farito. The coral all looks very healthy too. Barracuda, squid, parrot fish, angel fish, puffers, it was a great trip!
