I was excited to visit and snorkel. It was a dead reef. There was basically one kind of fish that wasn't very colourful scavenging around for the fish food thrown in the water by tourists. We rode our bikes there and it was a beutiful ride.Pros - inexpensive, beach was pretty.

We really liked it here. MUCH CHEAPER than the national park next door- 70 pesos a person which includes lounge chair and umbrella. Great snorkeling- we saw lots of fish or all different varieties, some corral and plants, a lobster and 2 sting rays. The water can be a bit rough so the it's hard swimming but we liked it... More

Not fancy but good service and very laid back atmosphere. You can drive 500 metres on either side and pay 85 US dollars per person but this place has a lovely beach, okay snorkelling with the food they sell (for the fish) and the beach waiter is appropriately attentive all for 70 pesos. As a bonus we found the local... More

Like everything else on this island, I found this place to be run down, but doing its best to hang on. Over all we had a good day; 70 peso entrance fee, early arrival (10:30 choice of chairs) drinks served to us on the beach, a quick lunch of nachos and guacamole, and a chance to use our snorkel equipment.... Great place to spend an afternoon doing some snorkelling. The owners are really nice people and they've slowly expanded services over the years.

We were advised by friends to skip the actual Garrafon Reef Park and snag a day pass at Garrafon de Castilla. We hopped off the ferry and took a $5 taxi there right away. About $3 USD per person at the hotel for day pass. We had lunch at their outdoor patio... great food, service and value. Clean restrooms, nice... More

A regular beach, cheap to get in an sea the ocean, but I prefer la playa norte. Also, the snorkeling is pretty much nothing.

I forgot how much the NP was, and I remembered this place from years ago. All you need for a beach day or a few hours-very cheap and good food. Views are great and the snorkelling is OK, not tons of fish, but some there to see in the rubble. No coral if you're looking for that. But fun and... More

We drove our golf cart here intending to snorkel. The entry fee was very affordable and then you could rent snorkel gear, towels, locker, vests very affordably as well. They have showers, bathrooms, a bar and food too. Also shaded lounges. The snorkeling was just OK. The water is pretty choppy - it's not in a cove. But, the amenities... More

Spent a few hours here swimming and snorkeling , cheap to get in about $3 . Its a small beach in a little cove, had quite a strong current that day. Had lots of Iguanas just hanging around. Did get a little busy later on so get there mid morning to get your pick of recliners. Its right next to... More
