It's fun to walk through all the vendors. They do all seem to have much the same things. But overall it's a fun atmosphere. We found a gelato shop that was wonderful.

You can find colorful spots for a nice picture of the area, a lot of handcrafts and restaurants too. Nice experience to walk down the Isla streets.

Lots of small stores and market places, mostly selling same sort of merchandise. Its in the open so a hat is essential as its hotter then mainland we found. You can easily walk the downtown area on foot.

There is a shop right at the zocala across from the malecon. You can't miss it, as it is purple! They have a fabulous reputation.
