initially its fun to walk down this street.....take in the varied stuff on sale.....but, if you're staying on Isla more than a day...it gets wearying. most other travelers come to Isla for a day trip and leave...so, when you stay on Isla for 6 nights...More

It's fun to walk through all the vendors. They do all seem to have much the same things. But overall it's a fun atmosphere. We found a gelato shop that was wonderful.

I don't get people comparing this to Cozumel. Not even close .People not as friendly ....nothing special...really odd.

Personally, I believe the goods are pricey, but you can walk and compared prices and goods from one store to another one. if you planning to buy any goods, get out of the Centro and you will find better prices for the same or better...More

You can find colorful spots for a nice picture of the area, a lot of handcrafts and restaurants too. Nice experience to walk down the Isla streets.

Lots of small stores and market places, mostly selling same sort of merchandise. Its in the open so a hat is essential as its hotter then mainland we found. You can easily walk the downtown area on foot.

There is a shop right at the zocala across from the malecon. You can't miss it, as it is purple! They have a fabulous reputation.

Yes lots. It's really grown in the last 5 years so you will be in for a shock how much it has grown. Both good and bad. Probably over 50 restaurants/ vendors on el Centro. There is a small shack on the corner that says... More
