Plaza Altabrisa opens at 11am, it has a food court, various restaurants (chili's, pf changs, ittalianis, fuddruckers, ihop etc.), Two large anchor stores at opposite ends are Sears and a grocery chain called Sorianna. There are various name brand stores such as Nike, Guess, Cloe, Vans (too many to list actually). Various banks, shoe stores, accessory stores, a coffee shop... More

As an American living in Belize, we find ourself starved for normality. In our visit to Merida we found exactly that. Plaza altabrisa is the newest of the malls and is as good as anything in the states. They have places to eat like PF Changs, IHOP and even a Fuddruckers. I know that's not too restaurants but when you... More

You can say Altabrisa is a mall like in the US, they have many stores, like expensive, and fancy. The restaurants and cafes they have are chain restaurants and chain stores. Like Aeropostale, Springfield, C&A, Nike, Adidas, Sfera, Zara. Stores like that. The place is very big and comfortable. The air conditioning is strong. So basically if you like these... More

This mall is perfect if you want to have lunch or dinner and then walk around the mall. P.F.Chang´s, Fuddruckers, i-hop, DQ, among other restaurants are located in the second floor. It can´t get more franchised than that. There are several brand stores that you can find like TAG HEUER, TOUS, Benetton, Adolfo Dominguez, Tommy, Polo, Swarovski, Mont Blanc, etc...... More

This is the largest Mall in Merida. By mall standards is pretty small. We did find a really good burger place called Worlds Best Burgers, not sure if they were the best in the world but they were pretty darn good. The rest of the place is just a run of the mill shopping mall, nothing to go out of... More

This mall has everything that one could wish for. I found the shops diverse and I think it's the biggest mall in Merida. They even have a pet store! My favorite store at this mall is the Body Shop.

SERIOUSLY. I lived in Merida for a year, and when I wanted to more American like feelings... I went to this mall. They have an AMAZING nail salon... you pay like $22 USD for a spa quality pedicure or a gel manicure... honestly... I still haven't been able to find such a good and affordable service back in NYC. They... More

If you need some retail therapy in Merida and to get away from the relentless heat, then this is the best shopping centre. It's pretty much trounced the competition, according to people I spoke to locally, and it's got superb air conditioning. We needed to escape 40 degree heat and this was a pleasant way to spend a few hours... More
