Sometimes you come across a place that completely takes you by surprise and Hacienda Orchil did just that. The journey to the restaurant was in itself an experience walking along palm lined paths with a few small places to stop and look at wares -...More

This hacienda is a beautiful place to go to. It has a beautiful amphitheater and a swimming pool to relax and refresh, before eating at the restaurant. It is a little scape from the ordinary. It has a cenote inside and a Mexican handcraft museum....More

Our driver (at end of Ruta Puuc tour) took us to this small Hacienda for lunch and a brief tour of an historical sisal making operation from the 18th century. Oldest we'd seen. Included a ride on an original "truk", a small train used to...More

Most dishes are Yucatecan. I think you will enjoy them thechi chen soup or sopa de Lima is excellent. I don't think you will have a problem. Everything is fresh and well presented and a variety.
