Panchos has changed a bit over time but still has a great ambience. You can dine or drink indoors or outdoors. Business has picked up since my last visit over a year ago. Its got a great "feel" and you can meet tourists, ex pats living there as well as locals. Highly recommend it

I like it, there wasn't that many people since we arrived pretty early, seems like best time to go is after 8pm. Food was really good, we ordered four different plates and they were really tasty. Drinks were also good, nice view to take pictures. And the ambience its really relaxing.

We have been to Pancho's a couple of times in previous visits, but we were very disappointed this time. The menu was very limited, the ambience not as 'magical', and the overall experience was somewhat negative. My wife had the Sea Bass, and did not enjoy it (some of it tasted 'fishier' than the rest), and my chicken was bland... More

Pancho's happens to have the perfect look and feel for a night in Merida. It is more expensive than other local restaurants, but it is for tourists. We were there with a sizable group and we sat "outside", under the stars. It really is a beautiful place. The service was excellent. If you do decide to visit Pancho's, get the... More

Thought we'd try it out. The food, while not terrible, was nothing better than you could get anywhere in the States. Burger was mediocre. Would be a good place when you're longing for expensive food from home.

The Food is great. Try the flaming coffee. The staff is great too. We always go to Pancho's when we are in Merida.

First of all, some of the experiences below are very inaccurate and I wonder if there were communication issues. I am definitely not fluent and heard no other problems from anyone else we met there. For happy hour special-you must sit at bar! Also, we went to Pancho's on the weekend (Fri - Sun) and got the 2 for 1... More

Not very good food and very touristy. Way too many great smaller resturants within easy walking distance of the main square. If your looking for the Tourist experience then it's ok..just Ok.

I am an octopus aficionado who has had Greek octopus dishes, Chinese octopus dishes and other octopus dishes at seafood restaurants in various cities in the US, Asia and Europe. I didn't expect to have such a tasty octopus salad at Pancho's. The salad was perfectly portioned, with octopus cut into bite size pieces along with the surprisingly good nugget-sized... More
