the zone is in between the sea side and the private residential area but its accessible and is kind of interesting because you can walk inside the buildings and take great pictures

Although the inlet was a bit crowded, it was nice, wave-free snorkeling for this newbie. The cenotes were the highlight though!

Had great time learning about the Mayan culture and its history. Met a family who practices the religous cermony that we were able to witness.

This is a small archaeological site just off the path on the way into central Playa del Carmen. It is easy and free so stroll through and take in the culture. I would call it a hidden gem.

well a few ruins and i mean ruins but in a gated community no photography allowed guard was armed so didnt try it once informed .visit tulum or coba much better

Free to access and situated in a residential area. Nice for a casual stroll about but nothing too impressive. Easy to access from the beach.
