Let me start out by saying, if you are not in decent shape and have trouble walking and crawling, especially in tight quarters, avoid this adventure. You are taken into a cave with hardly any light. You walk through water and while you do not have to swim, you do have to wade in water, sometimes up to your chest... More

I have been to caves and caverns in Texas and Tennessee and Rio Secreto is by far the coolest. The stalactites were plentiful and helectite foundations were beautiful and amazing. God is Great! The fact that this was discovered only in 2005 by a guy chasing an Iguana, is crazy. If you get a chance to the Yucatan, go to... More

I wasn't sure how I would feel with being underwater and in a cave. I'm such a cry baby and I was scared but I ended up having a grea time. Our tour guide was such an awesome and funny guy, I can't remember his name (sorry). I think without his encouragement and seeing a little girl being more adventurous... More

This place is incredible. We were so surprised about how great it was to come here. The staff are wonderful, knowledgeable, and want to make sure that everyone has a good time and learn about the caves. It might be a little difficult for someone very tall and large, as you need to climb over or through some narrow spaces. I... More

Also booked this tour through Royal Caribbean. Very professional. Guide, Nunes, was knowledgeable and friendly. Cool experience swimming in clear water beneath stalactites above your head. I was worried because it was crowded, but they broke us up in groups of ten and we never saw the other groups while down below. Definitely recommend this tour.

We did this as a morning excursion from our hotel. Management runs a very efficient operation running different tour groups through the caves at the same time. Groups enter the cave approximately the same time but follow different routes so you don't see or hear any other group. You walk and swim through the caves. Superb cave formations. Our guide... My husband and I did this excursion a few days ago and I must say it is one of the best tours we have gone on off the ship. Everything was extremely organized from the moment you get off the ship through the end of the day. The staff was very professional and extremely friendly and truly made the experience... More

My wife and I booked this tour through Royal Caribbean. It was very well-organized and efficient. The van-ride to the location was fun but very bumpy. The instruction was very precise and the equipment was well-maintained. We had a blast with Memo as our guide. I won't spoil all the fun details of the river itself but you will not... More

Although I have visited a number of caverns, this was a new experience to be in the water walking. The guide Alondra was awesome, friendly and making us comfortable. I appreciated the walking stick, as it is sometimes difficult to judge some step down areas. The grounds were kept up very well and the only reason I thought about lowing... More
